Several folks have asked us about the attire for the wedding so I thought I should post a note in case others are wondering the same.
Fist and foremost, we want all of our guests to be comfortable and happy.
It will likely be in the mid 70ties to mid 80ties in the afternoon, but as the sun sets it can get chilly in the mountains. So we recommend that you bring an extra layer for later in the evening. Ladies, that means bring a shall, wrap or jacket. Also for the ladies, you will be walking on/standing on grass a fair amount, so you may want to leave your stiletto heels at home.
In terms the formality of the attire we are envisioning, we are casually referring to it as "mountain fancy" meaning cocktail/sun dresses for the ladies, slacks and jacket or collar shirt for the men, no need to dust off the tuxedo for this one!
Either way, we will love and accept you no matter how you are dressed, just come dressed ready to celebrate and have a good time!

Sunday 8/30 - BBQ on the Beach!
We are getting very excited about all the upcoming festivities and we already know that come Sunday, we won't be ready for them to end... so we are planning to have an informal BBQ on the beach on Sunday, August 30th (the day after the wedding).
ALL are invited to stop by for some snacks and casual fun in the sun. We have reserved the picnic spots closest to the water with some shade. There will be some light food, bocce ball for those interested, swimming in the lake, etc. We hope you can join us and keep the party train rolling!
TIME & DATE: Sunday, 8/30 11-4pm
LOCATION: Incline Beach (a.k.a Ski Beach) 967 Lakeshore Blvd., Incline Village
*Incline Ski Beach is a "private" beach for residents only, therefore when you arrive, you will need to tell the person in the booth you are there for the MANZONE/DOR family picnic. You will then need to give them your name, and we will take care of the rest (you do not need to pay or be on a pre-approved list, just give them the Manzone/Dor names).

Travel Time on Highway 80
To all of you who will be driving up HWY 80 to get to our wedding in Tahoe Vista, please be aware of some ongoing road construction that may impact your travel time. Please plan for an extra 30-60 minutes of driving time.
A majority of the road work is being done between Colfax and Truckee. Our friends at Caltrans recommend avoiding travel during "peak" hours from 2-9pm on Thursday & Friday nights and 10-6pm on Sunday nights.
For up-to-date detailed information, please visit www.getacross80.com
We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your patience with it as you make your way up to the lake to celebrate with us!

Menu for the Wedding
Greetings friends and family!
We wanted to take a moment to explain the food options you will see on the RSVP cards.
We are planning a seated & served 5 course meal. The first 2 courses are vegetarian, the 3rd course will be fish, the 4th course will be beef and the 5th course will be a simple salad (in keeping with the European tradition). Therefore, if you wish to enjoy all 5 courses, you do not need to mark anything on the RSVP card.
If, however, you are a vegetarian or just don't eat beef, please mark the appropriate box on the RSVP card. That way, we can ensure that you will receive an appropriate substitute for that course. In other words, it isn't an "either/or" situation, you don't have to choose between fish and beef, you will get both, unless you prefer otherwise. In which case, please let us know what you prefer.
Grazie!

A Note about International Orders from our Registry
To all of our friends and family abroad, we apologize that the websites for our registry (William Sonoma, Crate & Barrel and Macy's) do not allow you to purchase directly on-line. A US credit card address is required in order to place an order on-line.
There are, however, several alternatives for those wishing to purchase a gift from our registry from outside the US.
1) You may call the store directly and give them your credit card information over the phone.
2) You may send an email to customer service, indicating that you would like to purchase a gift from our registry. They will need your name, credit card info, including an address, a contact number, the desired gift and any gift message you would like included in the package. For example, if you wish to order something from Crate & Barrel, you may email your order to customer_service@Crateandbarrel.com.
3) You may also contact a relative living in the US (thanks mom!) and arrange for them to purchase it on your behalf.
4) You are more than welcome to purchase a gift off-registry or simply make a donation in our honor to our designated charity, the League to Save Tahoe (http://www.keeptahoeblue.org/support/index.php).
Thank you for your understanding!

Airport and Travel Information
If you are arriving by air, the easiest airports to fly into are the San Francisco International Airport, the Oakland International Airport and the Reno International Airport.
FLYING IN/OUT OF RENO
Arriving in Reno will minimize your drive as Lake Tahoe is less than an hour drive from Reno. Depending upon where you choose to stay and your car needs, you can either rent a car or take an airport shuttle from the airport to the your lodging on the lake.
FLYING IN/OUT SAN FRANCISCO OR OAKLAND
If you choose to fly into San Francisco or Oakland, it is approximately a 3.5 hour drive to Lake Tahoe. You may choose to rent a car or take a shuttle or bus.
GETTING AROUND TAHOE
Tahoe is known for its pristine mountain lake setting but it is unfortunately not known for its public transportation. Therefore we recommend that you consider renting a car and we strongly encourage car sharing!
